Privacy
The sizes you save stay on your phone. We collect anonymous usage statistics, such as which size was measured, to improve the app. We don't collect photos, there's no sign-up, and we never sell data. If you email your sizes to yourself, the email is sent through our email provider, Resend, which keeps a copy for 30 days and then deletes it. We keep your email address only if you tick “Ring tips & offers from RingJoy”.
What we collect
The RingJoy app sends anonymous usage events and crash reports so we can see whether the app works well and fix problems:
- Usage events, through PostHog: for example that the app was opened, a calibration or measurement was completed (with the size measured), a size was saved or shared, and whether you sent yourself a size email and ticked “Ring tips & offers from RingJoy”.
- Crash reports, through Sentry: technical details of what went wrong, such as the app version and device model.
These contain no names and no email addresses. The people and sizes you save stay on your phone and are not sent to us. We don't collect photos, there are no ads, and we never sell data.
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.
Emailing your sizes to yourself is optional. When you do, the app sends your email address and the sizes to our server, which passes them to our email provider, Resend, to send the email. Resend keeps a copy for 30 days and then deletes it.
If you don't tick “Ring tips & offers from RingJoy”, we use your address for that one email and don't keep it. If you tick it, we keep your address on our RingJoy mailing list, held by Resend, and use it only for ring tips and offers from RingJoy. You can unsubscribe from any email we send, using the link at the bottom, and we'll stop.
